Another Book Reviewed: Polpo

Attachment-1.jpeg

Another successful Cookbook Club! Our most recent analysis was of Polpo, A Venetian Cookbook, of sorts, by Russell Norman, and we gave it 3.5 sticks of butter! (Yes, that is a 4 stick rating system.) As usual, each month, we selected 4 recipes that would essentially piece together a meal, in order to really test how the book would work for the home cook. We selected the Fig & Prosciutto Bruschetta, Caponata, Rosemary Focaccia, and Gnocchi with Kale Pesto. All in all, it was a success!

As usual, I was lucky to have a great group of chefs ready to work and excited to eat! We had so much fun cooking and eating Russell’s food, and we loved the book…no surprise.
